Maki Placemat - Beige - Sale

Handmade in Tamil Nadu, India

  •

Crafted by the Lambadis of Tamil Nadu

A modern interpretation of traditional Lambadi flower motifs, the concentric rows of maki stitches come together to create both larger and smaller patterns. These linen placemats are perfect for both casual and formal settings. Patience and consistency are required on the part of the artisan to ensure symmetry of design.

Why are these on sale? While most of our linens arrive in perfect condition there are the occasional pieces which have slight staining. They're too good to throw so we've washed these pieces and they're as good as new at a special price for you!

Match these with our Maki Napkins for a well styled table. There are also some matching napkins on sale here.

The Lambadi artisans are part of a group of around 50 women. Each woman works out of the comfort of her own home, allowing her to maintain a work-life balance.

**Sold individually. Final sale. No returns.
